Hi there. I’m Alyssa.

I’m a freelance writer and artist based in Minneapolis.

My work has appeared in The Guardian, The Nation, The Rumpus, Guernica, and others, while my art has been exhibited in galleries in Minnesota, Texas, and North Dakota.

I’ve been a resident of MacDowell and the Atlantic Center for the Arts, in addition to receiving two fellowships from the International Women’s Media Foundation.

I’m currently finishing my debut novel.
