Hi there.

I’m Alyssa. I’m a freelance journalist and essayist based in Minneapolis. I’ve written for The Guardian, The Nation, The Rumpus, Guernica, Zeteo, and others. My visual work has been exhibited in galleries in Minnesota, Texas, and North Dakota, and I’ve been chosen for residencies at MacDowell and the Atlantic Center for the Arts. I am also a fellow of the International Women’s Media Foundation. I’m currently finishing my debut novel.
